CGiii Comment
There is a speech in this film that few would get away with...
Political madness masquerading as political correctness...interestingly...can be overcome by anyone that is not white (and if they are white they had better be gay).
Lee casts off his distinct mantle of African-American explorer - and he does it, surprisingly, well.
The jury is divided on this one - love or hate - but, it is intelligent film-making, solely down to the writing.
The music, at times, is imposing - especially the scratching.
Norton shows his versatility and Lee displays that he might actually be a versatile director.
A mature film.
