Question: Why was this even considered for the Iris Prize? With regard to the art of filmmaking...utterly atrocious.
The 'director/writer/star' managed to turn on the camera and then went mad with auto-focus, followed by insanity in the editing suite.
The biggest worry is...Bonita Rajpurohit (as Kusum) is putting 'their-self' into some very dangerous situations.

"In this world of stereotypes and political correctness, Is there someone out there who can see Kusum as an ordinary girl beyond her gender identity?"
We follow Kusum, a trans girl on a series of dates with boys; All her dates seem to have a different approach to the elephant in the room; her Gender Identity. Some dates see her as a source for their own gender expressions or personal gain, and some see her as an object of curiosity for their fantasies or fetishes. Kusum finds some solace only in the company of her best friend SARAS. Finally, Kusum finds the one who perceives the way she perceives herself, ultimately motivating her to take her own agency.
