Caibarien was one of the most prosperous Cuba fishing villages. Now their progress seems due, rather, to the LGBTI activism of many of its inhabitants. For that reason, the Russian Roxana Rojo says that the former Villa Blanca is stained pink in the middle of the national gray.


Caibarién, un pueblo de pescadores, del norte de Cuba, se ha convertido en una de las zonas de mayor aceptación a la diversidad en la Isla. Por eso, la rusa Roxana Rojo, bautiza a su tierra como la Villa rosa, durante la celebración de sus carnavales acuáticos.
