CGiii Comment

Hamed comes from a wealthy religious family. His partner Raman is about to leave Iran and is sad not to have a suitable place to celebrate his departure. Hamed is determined to help and decides to organise an underground surprise goodbye party in his family's empty warehouse. However, shortly before their close friend Tondar has recently died in an accident that they are not allowed to talk about publicly.

«The Crowd» is based on the director's personal experiences and reflects the challenges faced by Iranian youth. This underground film was shot independently in 12 days with the director's own Crowd and the result is an impressive film of a rebellious young generation.
