CGiii Comment

In time, everything fades...youth and beauty...

When you rely entirely on these attributes...in time, there will be problems.

This finely-produced short-film ends where it starts to begin...and it looks like it's going to be developed into a series.

We have high hopes and expectations!

The(ir) Blurb...

James, a sexy, youthful, sought-after Instagram star and internet personality gets dumped by his wealthy sugar daddy. Trophy Boy is your classic "riches-to-rags" story: after having lived a lavish party life, an attractive gay man must learn that the real world is not the façade he’s built for himself on social media. It’s a delicious satirical send-up of a wild party-boy lifestyle and FOMO culture that touches on many important issues: fame, addiction, refusal to grow up, responsibility and emotionally limited relationships. The film catches some lovely moments of humour and pathos, and Emrhys Cooper pulls off a rarity for a first-time filmmaker with a terrific performance in the staring role.
