CGiii Comment

It's not as bad as some people say...and, it's not as good as it could have been.

It looks good...with way too many cuts, the editor must have been throwing an extended fit...too many different film styles - it all makes you a little dizzy.

The parallel story lines don't work, all they actually do is impede each other...a straight forward narrative of Wallis and Edward would have the best (and more watchable) route to go...that said, the fir-throwing editor show have scrapped the Sex Pistols sing-dance scene...we're all for juxtaposition, but there are limits that just have to be respected.

It's not a terrible film...but, for an incomparable love story, it simply has no passion.
