CGiii Comment

Slow!

And, not very gay...although there is a prominent gay storyline, the director either refuses or fails to make anything of it...which is a tragedy and the failing of the film, because the young lead - Gabriel Maille - has a remarkable presence. A shining light in a frayed tapestry.

Grief is - obviously - subjective. Here, that grief manifests itself within the realm of implausibility...the sleazy man from nowhere...with no explanation.

And, the lesbian grandmother...a story in itself...but, nothing.

And, the ending...well, the less said about that, the better.

Édoin knew where the treasure was buried...unfortunately, he decided not to dig it up. There was gold in this film.

Massively disappointing.
