CGiii Comment

A mightily powerful film about a subject that has been practically ignored by everyone. A subject that most would admit to not wanting to think about. Learning disabilities and sexuality.

How this develops is testament to the writing. How this is performed is testament to the direction. The final scene will, undoubtedly, be viewed with mixed feeling...but, there is no doubting the immense emotion that is displayed.

Upon her return to the hometown, a former dancer finds herself unexpectedly crossing paths with a girl with Down syndrome. As they individually struggle to fit in a repressive society, their connection will challenge and reshape the boundaries that define their lives.
