CGiii Comment

There are so many ways to look at this - the usual confusion, complexities and self-centredness are all present.

For the girlfriend, what a journey, a lesbian with a girlfriend who transitions - it's more confusing for her than anyone else - no wonder she likes a drink.

The only difference with this story (and all the others) is the added celebrity...the filmmakers use a ridiculously awkward moment with Cher - she should be angry and justifiably so - to highlight the complexities of in-the-spotlight transition.

The part with the trans-kids is bizarre - it merits a documentary all of its own and should not have been included.

The exploitative nature of this film is revealed by Chaz when he refuses to kiss his girlfriend - strange when he was the producer.

Brave or self-serving?

Both.
