New York, late '70s. Racial conflict is now the order of the day and being black, gay, drag queen or transgender means being the last of society. There is a growing need to create places where people could feel free to express themselves, without being judged or punished: the Balls. And from here, the Ballroom culture. "House Of Us" is a documentary film that tells the birth of the Ballroom scene in the city of Padua, through interviews and testimonies from the community.
