CGiii Comment

The most expensive and least effective version of this exhausted and prolific story.

Why make a film about a noted historical figure and change all the facts?

Joan did not have a sister....that startling lie is in the first few minutes, there are over 120 more minutes of bogus facts and camp shenanigans before the psychotic Joan is tied to stake and fried...yes, that may sound flippant - but, that is exactly what this film is...flippant and false.

The(ir) Blurb...

1429. While the war between France and England (the Hundred Years War) appeared settled in 1420, in England's favour, the death of King Henry V of England reignites it. England occupies large areas of France and appears set to take the whole of it. Into this moment of crisis rides legendary Joan of Arc, a teenage girl who claims to be lead by divine visions.
