Este film de Jesús Garay se rodó entre Santander y Cabezón de la Sal, un pueblo de la actual provincia de Cantabría, en el verano de 1980. Constituye una inusual reflexión sobre la labilidad del deseo sexual contando entre los principales protagonistas al pintor sevillano, afincado en Barcelona, Ocaña.
