CGiii Comment

Completely panned by [almost] everyone!

With a poster announcing: Gay aliens found in UFO wreck! What's there not to like!?!

Well, for one thing...it hasn't a clue what it actually is! It could be a daft comedy with too much slushy sentimentality...if you read it that way, it's really entertaining.

Alas, the room is divided...but, one thing that should unite us all...this is basically a re-make of The Abyss set in space...with some truly dreadful dialogue and misplaced lightheartedness...courtesy of John Bradley...who might just be a a gay, space-obsessed geek! Needless to say, there is very little in the way of character development in the entire film.

The idea is fantastic, the moon is an alien-made megastructure on a collision course to Earth...some of the effects are spectacular...but, despite the expense, this is a colossal disaster of a film...that is, if you read it seriously!

The(ir) Blurb...

"In 2022, Humanity will face the dark side of the Moon."

In Moonfall, a mysterious force knocks the Moon from its orbit around Earth and sends it hurtling on a collision course with life as we know it. With mere weeks before impact and the world on the brink of annihilation, NASA executive and former astronaut Jo Fowler is convinced she has the key to saving us all - but only one astronaut from her past, Brian Harper and a conspiracy theorist K.C. Houseman believe her. These unlikely heroes will mount an impossible last-ditch mission into space, leaving behind everyone they love, only to find that they just might have prepared for the wrong mission.
