Ballroom culture is popping up in Australia...of all places!

A word of advice, you need a seminal film like Paris is Burning...this is not it!

The(ir) Blurb...

After previously collaborating on the award-winning I Want to Dance Better at Parties, Matthew Bate (Shut Up Little Man: An Audio Misadventure, MIFF 2011) and Gideon Obarzanek team up for Once Upon a Time in the Western Suburbs. This VR dance work puts viewers in the middle of a street dance battle featuring artists from the XO State festival, held as part of Arts Centre Melbourne's AsiaTOPA in February 2017.
