RIU is the spiritual and physical journey of the last heiress of the ancestral culture of oral tradition of Easter Island, Maria Elena a 70-year old woman, who works as a composer, performer, and teacher of different vocal techniques, has taken the decision to leave her legacy before she died. This is why she named her successor to her daughter, Aru, a transsexual islander that must fight the rooted and prejudiced pascuen`s sexism.
