CGiii Comment

Why would you want to be part of an organisation that abjectly disapproves of you?

Those with 'faith' will probably be able to answer [without foundation] that question - those without, remain baffled.

This film does not offer an answer...so, what was the point in making it in the first place? It's a God infomercial...made for Adventists (probably by Adventists) and should only be viewed by Adventists.

Apart from the obvious brainwashing and a [worrying] delusion. In truth, what these [sadly-lacking] people are doing is substantiating and actively promoting a fundamentally homophobic institution. Jesus would certainly have something to say about that - he [seemingly] spoke endlessly against hypocrisy.

Jesus will be slapping many wrists on the day of judgment...that is, if he ever does return. There have been many bogus predictions.

At the end, the same-sex wedding with the heterosexual template - is nothing short of cringeworthy.

David loves Jesus and wants to go to heaven, but he also wants Colin. Marcos was fired for being gay, but wants to be a pastor again. And Sherri wants her kids to grow up to be good Seventh-day Adventists even though the church teaches that her same-sex marriage is sinful. All three are caught in the middle between the church they know and love and their desire to be fully accepted for who they are. 'Seventh-Gay Adventists' offers a revealing look at the inner spiritual world of three LGBT church members struggling to reconcile their faith and sexuality and explores what it means to belong when you find yourself on the margins.
