Steve Jobs

Country: USA, Language: English, 122 mins

  • Director: Danny Boyle
  • Writer: Aaron Sorkin; Walter Isaacson
  • Producer: Bernard Bellew; Danny Boyle

CGiii Comment

Far, far superior than the other bio-pic.

The only reason that this film has been included...

It gives a respectful and deserving credit to Alan Turing...even the Jobs' ego deferred to (other than his own) genius.

Sorkin's script is masterful. Boyle's direction is fluid. Fassbender and Winslet both radiate.

Now...Jobs was not a pleasant man (by all accounts)...watching him is not a pleasant experience...perhaps that is why this under-performed at the Box Office...

Honey, let's watch a hideous man stab backs, steal ideas, make millions and deny the existence of his child.

Not exactly an appealing USP. His reputation preceded him.

His story has been told...let him rest.

The(ir) Blurb...

His passion and ingenuity have been the driving force behind the digital age. However his drive to revolutionize technology was sacrificial. Ultimately it affected his family life and possibly his health. In this revealing film we explore the trials and triumphs of a modern day genius, the late CEO of Apple inc. Steven Paul Jobs.
