Diaries of Vaslav Nijinsky (The)

Country: UK, Language: English, 95 mins

  • Director: Paul Cox
  • Writer: Vaslav Nijinsky; Paul Cox
  • Producer: Paul Cox; Kevin Lucas

CGiii Comment

Nijinsky was either a tormented soul or a f&*ked-up spiteful, spoiled brat.

This film flippantly and consistently goes on about how much he loved everyone and everything.

Whatever you feel about Nijinsky - this film will not alter your opinion in any way.

It is just a series of uninspired images with Jacobi reading aloud the childlike writing - amplifying how immature and dim Nij actually was...

Cox manages to raise money for his projects which is a remarkable talent considering the calibre of his output...in the last 10+ years - dire.
