CGiii Comment
Okay...so, we weren't exactly the greatest fans of the first film.
And now this...an unnecessary, 120-minute plodding sequel - that manages to exhaust rather than exhilarate.
This is a complex subject - unfortunately, Mr Garcia neither possesses the required intellect to cope with the complexity nor the skill to write a challenging narrative. He uses words, too many words - and shows nothing.
Strange, considering the medium is film - a picture can say a thousand words - unfortunately, Garcia chose the words over the pictures.
The nudity is incongruous and ill-judged. By cutting out all the unnecessary scenes, a little salvation would have been given to the viewer and a tighter, more coherent film would have been produced.
On a more positive note: the acting has improved (apart from RJ's father - who is appalling).
Please, there is no need for a third installment.
