CGiii Comment

An intimate poetic documentary about finding happiness in the worst of conditions.

Las Flores de la Noche is a small village on the shores of the biggest lake in Mexico. In the village live four young transgender women: Violeta, Alexa, Dolche and Uriel. The latter decides to leave her female identity behind after joining a religious group who uses conversion therapy. Despite everything, the strong friendship bonds unite the four in a very special and inspiring way.

“The Night Flowers” is a manifest of freedom and happiness, where the heroines celebrate their youth and identity with pride despite the harsh living conditions.
