There’s a place in Old Havana called Calle Cuba that unites the lives of four women who embody both the resilience and fragility of an island in crisis. Anabel, a young actress, hesitates between pursuing her career in Cuba or emigrating to France to work as a cleaner. Dayana, 30, dreams of traveling to Russia and undergoing the surgery that will let her become the woman she has always felt inside. Mailén, mother of three, bears the scars of a childhood and a relationship marked by violence, while striving to sustain her family with optimism. Elvira, 74, endures scarcity while caring for her ailing husband. Invisible, everyday violences run through their lives, yet never extinguish their dreams. Together, they sustain the intimate pulse of a street and a nation.

En La Habana Vieja, la Calle Cuba une las vidas de cuatro mujeres que encarnan la resistencia y la fragilidad de una isla en crisis. Anabel, joven actriz, se debate entre continuar su carrera en Cuba o emigrar a Europa como limpiadora. Dayana, de 30 años, sueña con viajar a Rusia y transformarse físicamente para ser la mujer que siempre ha sentido dentro de sí.
