CGiii Comment

It's not as bad as they say...well, in truth, the first 3 episodes are!

When Michael Patrick King takes a step back [from writing and directing], things improve dramatically, even though he wrote the two [atrocious] feature films and a third of the original series.

He obviously has made no connection with the characters...20 years on! Nor with the intended audience...spoon-feeding [i.e. patronising] is not the way to go!

Anyway, we persevered...with Samantha gone, most of the humour went with her. Charlotte is even more irritating as the woman/child. Carrie is Carrie...still with the dreadful style and shoe obsession, accompanied by a few more wrinkles...but, it's Miranda who has had a complete personality change and brain swap...to the point of being [ludicrously] unrecognisable.

If the scripts don't become snappier, there will be no season 2...and, without the politically incorrect Samantha [to keep it snappy]...this politically-too-correct show offers nothing for its intended audience...middle-aged, wealthy women in a post-mid-life crisis!
