Artemisia Gentileschi (1593-1653) was one of the first well-known female painters and this film distorts the truth...seriously, what is the point in making a bio-pic and changing the facts to such a degree?!?
Hollistory has arrived in France - Merlet should be ashamed and banned from putting her mangling hands onto someone else's life story.
Oooh it may be a pretty movie...but, it has no substance [or truth] whatsoever.
