CGiii Comment

The aftermath of Hurricane Katrina...told from a totally unique perspective.

Brent Joseph found a subject and did the best thing with him...he let him speak.

A powerful film...of loss and survival...and, caring.

The(ir) Blurb...

'Holdout' is a portrait of a New Orleanian. Jimmy, a resident of the Mid-City neighborhood, refused to evacuate for the storm. Despite being surrounded by floodwaters for two weeks, he insisted on staying home to care for his family of 18 pets. With helicopters and gunshots just outside his window, Jimmy reflects on the death of his life-long boyfriend who died exactly one year earlier.
