The(ir) Blurb...
“Identikwijt” is a short film / documentary written by, Thomas Vander Brugghen and Katrien Vandenberghe. The authors wanted to set the theme of “transgenderism” in the spotlight, a theme which is still a big taboo in Belgium. The starting point for making the movie was the “coming out” of a very good friend of theirs, who told them in 2013 that discreetly he dressed himself, for already 20 years, every night as a woman and feels himself really woman and that he finally decided to do his coming out. Jan has now become Jani and lives her life now for 80% as a woman. She is the main caracter of the story.
