After years of struggle, public opinion is finally moving in favor of LGBT equality and a new generation is pushing forward that change, backed by a growing chorus of straight allies. "We are at an historic tipping point, the way many people think about LGBT issues. In many ways are beginning to champion our equality like never before," said Joe Solmonese, president of the Human Rights Campaign, the country's largest LGBT advocacy organization.
