It's one of those films that should have started 15 minutes before where it ended...if that makes any sense?!?!

There's too much faffing around...and, just when it starts to get interesting...it ends.

There's a fleeting scene with a gay couple...blink and you'll miss them.

It's a film that flounders between comedy and drama...neither funny enough nor too dramatic...it needed punchier material and a director who knows how to bash out a story.

Some would call it a lazy-afternoon film...with decent performances from all concerned. Julianne Moore does do 'cold' rather well.

Harmless and, sadly, instantly forgettable.
