CGiii Comment

Interesting because of when and where it was made.

As to the blurb saying it shows homosexuality in a positive light...whoever wrote that must have a very skewed understanding of the word 'positive'.

He suffers from internalised homophobia, he's a stalker, a victim of a homophobic attack, possibly suicidal and a potential murderer. Positive?!?

It appears that this is Piotr Majdrowicz one and only film...shame, because - even though this deals with some huge issues, behind the iron curtain, this is a gentle meditation on the illegality of homosexuality and the pain of not being able to be yourself.

The(ir) Blurb...

A young photographer meets an athlete to photograph him. The photographer becomes fascinated with and eventually falls in love with the athlete. One of the first Polish films, possibly the very first, to depict homosexuality in a positive light.
