CGiii Comment

Sooo...this is the film that got boo-ed at Cannes...inexplicably and undeservedly so!

Admittedly, it's not the usual Van Sant fayre...a fairly straightforward narrative, no unnecessary arty-farty bits...in fact, it is one of Van Sant's most accessible film...and, the critics utterly hated it.

We didn't!

It's a beautiful story...with cinematography to match.

Give it time...it will involve you...and, you'll be a hard-hearted oaf (like those dissenting critics) if it doesn't tug at your heartstrings.
