Last Time I Saw Ron (The)

The film is made from footage shot for the play Philoktetes Variations (Jan Ritsema), and includes stunning material of actor Ron Vawter's figure flying through some cosmic and destructive events, and of a pregnant woman drifting alongside him as his body merges with the time and space of the universe. A moving meditation on the power of art as a life-giving force, and about one man's extraordinary belief in that power.
