Theater of War

Country: USA, Language: English, 95 mins

  • Director: John W. Walter
  • Producer: Dany Garcia; Adriane Giebel

CGiii Comment

A masterclass in how-not-to-make-a-documentary.

Walter has committed the most heinous of crimes...great subject matter, great subjects and an inability to make them interesting.

Instead, he clutters the film with mountains of irrelevance...the professor is inconsequential and insipid...spouting Warhol quotes about Coke.

Every hideous gimmick that a film student uses is used - to dire effect.

Ms. Streep should be furious - everyone who watches this will be furious at the abuse delivered.

Work no more Walter.
