Definitely not one of his best - it does have all his trademarks...but, there is something missing, a vital spark.

The energy is sporadic - as for the comedy, there is none.

This almost reeks of an Almodovar-wannabe film, unfortunately it is an Almodovar film - one that he should keep hidden in the closet.

Sorry Pedro. You can't win them all.
