The 1st feature from the director of Sacred Silence - prolonged blackouts, scenes that are too long and irrelevant.
The sound FX are perplexing and hugely intrusive.
The young cast do a stellar job with terrible material.
Capuano shows no directorial skill whatsoever - the film is flat and thoroughly unengaging - has he improved with age? No, not really - but, he keeps on making films.
Inexplicable.

VITO AND THE OTHERS is the groundbreaking film which drew international attention to the problem of neglected youth and street crime in poverty-stricken Naples.
