CGiii Comment
A three-hander...with three characters...you wouldn't want to spend 3 minutes with...
James...a high-maintenance, not-too-bright buffoon. So slappable - it would hurt your hand.
Olivier...a stiff-as-a-board, arrogant bore. Punchable, to the point of perverse enjoyment.
Caroline...as welcome as a rabid, vapid wasp. Kickable...as in - out the door...toute de suite.
Why - we hear you wail - would you want to spend 70 minutes in their company?
Well...there are better things to do...when was the last time you clipped your toe-nails? Tended your corns?
Monsieur Audi-Dor...wethinks...you thought...too much...and said less than you thought you did.
Pretension is - indeed - contagious.
