CGiii Comment

Many a film gets screwed up in the editing suite...here's a classic example. The edits are not only [too] numerous but clumsy. No flow. No composition.

When a short film is too long...cut out the boring bits. Y has many.

As a story, it doesn't make sense...one minutes she's this then she's that...one thing for sure...she's a thoroughly contemptuous character - to spend 23 minutes in her company is akin to torture.

The(ir) Blurb...

Laura is a self-confident young woman, a member of the new “Me Me Me Generation“, also known as “Generation Y”. Spoilt for choice by life’s abundance of options, Laura has lost track of her own aims and ideals. She’s always looking for something, she just doesn’t know what. One night she meets Safi, who has fled her homeland. The encounter gives Laura food for thought.
