Two machismo Greek Australian brothers, George and Yanni, drink beer, leer at women and dismissively call each other faggot. One day, their father Dimitri is badly hurt. When Yanni, George and their estranged mother Toula visit him in hospital, unexpected guests arrive and Dimitri's secret life and family facade collide, sending the brothers into a tailspin.
