ELECTRA WASP centers on a speculative history after the known Earhart mythos ends- on Gardner Island, she is bitten by a tropical bug and succumbs to a strange fever. The delirium she enters sends her spiraling down memory lane, pondering the nature of fame, fortune, family, freedom, selfishness and what it means to be an American icon. It is a retrospective of her emotional world and an exploration of what drove her to pursue her passion for flying.
