CGiii Comment

Lucile Hadzihalilovic - the director with the unpronounceable name, told the audience to expect a journey...rather than a story.

A cinematic beauty slowly unfolds. The framing, the imagery...all exquisite...

An incomprehensible journey and a journey that should not be missed. It is a visual marvel.

At the Q&A afterwards, the director with the unpronounceable name explained that the film was autobiographical.

It was about a young boy...somewhat bemusing, defiantly flummoxing...and, perplexing, in a good way.

Still...it has a chilling beauty...and, most definitely, one to discuss over a stiff drink.

Was that a lesbian orgy? In the mud?
