'Fighters' (1991) is a gritty documentary following the real life struggles of a group of East End boxers as they attempt to take the first few steps on the route to fame on the professional circuit. It also looks at the comeback trail of former British Commonwealth Champion Mark Kaylor, and the mass appeal of boxing, constantly cutting between interviews, documentary footage and dramatised fight sequences.
