Sword and sorcery by Verhoeven - the more-miss-than-hit director: Showgirls versus Total Recall.

It looks good in places, the writing is terrible in all places and the acting is dire.

Jennifer Jason-Leigh as a princess - the most evil-looking - is woefully miscast.

Ultimately, it is 2 hours of utter nonsense.
