CGiii Comment

Leaf-blowing in a forest...inspired!

This is a perfect short film...it has everything and more. The artistry by Jason Laurits is off-the-scale.

Bitter-sweet has never been so dominated by the sweet! An absolute gem of a film. Wait until you see the camouflage!

The(ir) Blurb...

Ruth obsesses over her pet hamster, Tango, It's the only spark left in her stale, dull life with her curmudgeon wife, Connie, who only sits with her bird puzzles and ignores her. On their 25th Anniversary, Ruth plans a sweet, little surprise for Connie, dressing Tango up in celebration. But Connie couldn't care less causing Ruth to snap, bringing it all to the surface. Poor, little Tango gets caught up in the rage and his spinning wheel comes to a stop. He's dead. Now, as Ruth runs through her grief and deep despair, she can no longer ignore the cracks in her marriage. Connie tries her best at sympathy but it only makes Ruth resent her more. A trip to the pet store spells it out for Ruth: we are all just spinning wheels to nowhere. Do we stop spinning and face the hard truths or keep going obliviously?
