Andy is an aspiring stand up comedian who helps his lesbian best friend Michelle hide her sexual orientation from her conservative parents by pretending to be her boyfriend. When Michelle's girlfriend proposes to her, Michelle decides that it's finally time to come out. Fearing that the end of their fake relationship will also mean the end of their friendship, Andy sets out to reluctantly stop her from coming out of the closet.
