At nightfall, two beautiful, ethereal creatures of the night begin to look for male prey to seduce and force to play their favourite erotic games. But death awaits the unfortunate victims they set their sights on. These men are nothing but a bargaining chip to use with an enigmatic individual who trades a mysterious drug in exchange for corpses. But who are these two praying mantises and what brings them together? What leads them to be the main characters of this perverted circus ruled by eros and thanatos? A third element will interfere with this mechanism, making one of the two fall in love, thus breaking the spell - or should we say illusion?

An erotic horror film with a dreamlike and decadent atmosphere, which hints at incestuous relationships, rediscovers freak shows and is influenced by the shibari technique. French director and ex performer Ovidie ventures into gothic, cursed territory, inspired by Jarmusch's Only Lovers Left Alive.
