CGiii Comment
It's a little rough around the edges...but, it does the best it can on such a tight budget.
Grim is the only way to describe these lives...teenage pregnancy, prostitution, drug addiction, drug dealing...just a few of the challenges that deprived communities have to face.
The Statue of Liberty plays a key role...it's everywhere. Well, this isn't the land of the free...this is systematic, bureaucratic hell...that offers very little in the way of optimism.
With fine performances from the entire cast...On the Outs gives an insight into young women's lives living in the rough. It's not pleasant...but, it is believable.
A worthy little film.
