CGiii Comment

Perfect teeth, perfect skin...this is as punk as a cabbage-patch-doll.

Here...punk is all about the hairdo...blue, green, Mohican...all attired with perfectly laundered clobber...

Matthew Lillard plays a blue-haired punk with as much pathos as his incarnation of Shaggy...Scooby-Doo's bum-chum.

The preaching monologues and voice-overs are as irritating as the wildly erratic and incompetent editing.

The speech about the origins of punk, the USA versus the UK...is diatribe daubed with drivel. And then...he talks about the faux punks, aka the 'posers' - difficult to take seriously when Shaggy is the biggest faux of them all.

Acting punk is not being punk.

As we said...this is as punk as a cabbage-patch-doll...with a trim and tidy Mohican.

The(ir) Blurb...

Two punks live in Salt Lake City. The film covers their all-day routine. The realism of the character-narrated movie may be discussed. One of the punks gets ill, stays in hospital for three weeks, comes out again. Three parties are covered and one concert including a fight between punks, rednecks and others.
