The book sold millions...

No matter what people say - it's a damn fine story and it's not that bad a film.

Typical Hollywood though, down-playing the gay character - McKellen's dotty English gent.

And, Bettany is rather creepy as the self-flagellating monk.

Symbologist Robert Langdon is thrown into a mysterious and bizarre murder.
