CGiii Comment

Why? Why? Why?

You cannot not compare this to the original...any attempt in not doing so would be nothing short of a preposterous proposition...particularly, because...this is a truly preposterous production.

Okay...no-one seems to be talking about the great big elephant that is Laverne Cox...she is not the greatest of actors, she is neither a great performer nor singer...Frank is a role to be performed with a perverse precision, sung like a liveried linnet and relished with dribbling deliciousness. Her performance had the disappointment of ordering a home-made gourmet burger with all the trimmings and receiving a skinny frozen patty with no relish...on a stale bun!

Laverne Cox is 'okay' in minor supporting roles...she is not a leading lady! Frank-N-Furter is not a lady!

As for the manipulation with script and score...how dare they!!!

It's best just to forget that this was ever made!
