The(ir) Blurb...

It's the 1980s, and Maggie Gyllenhaal plays door-to-door makeup saleswoman Valerie Williams, who meets Mark, the son of one of her clients. It soon transpires that Mark is trans and in the closet, and could do with some makeup tips, with the initially uncertain Valerie well placed to help her.
