If this hadn't been written by a gay man then it would be a different kettle of fish...

Gay-with-a-girlfriend...but, not bisexual...and, as expected, there is a whiff of selfishness.

This will divide opinion...the obvious danger is that being gay comes over as the 'phase' that all parents hope for...worse still, being gay is a choice!

Perhaps Russell was being overly optimistic in stating that no matter the sexuality or the sex - there is a someone for everyone...there's no point in narrowing one's horizons...famously, why go through life with one hand tied behind your back?!?

It will divide and, for some, it will entertain - especially with the concluding sentimentality.

If it hadn't been written by a gay man - it could be considered as a saccharine-coated offence.
