CGiii Comment

Feminism is regarded as the most successful social movement of the 20th century. Yet its legitimacy is constantly questioned. Why does discrimination persist so stubbornly in patriarchy? And what would the world look like if gender equality was actually applied? These are the questions addressed by director Katharina Mückstein, who won the Golden Eye at ZFF in 2018 with L'ANIMALE. In FEMINISM WTF, she interviews experts from the fields of political and social science, masculinity research and gender, queer and trans studies to create a colourful bouquet of forward-looking ideas that speak for a solidary togetherness.
